The watercolour copyright markings which appear on the web versions of the images are not reproduced on the prints.
Every print, whether it be a Fine Art Print, Poster Print or Canvas Print, is individually made upon ordering.
The print options and their technical specifications are:
- Fine Art Prints: Supplied on 300gsm Fine Art Etch Paper. This is a watercolour style paper.
- Poster Prints: Supplied on 270gsm satin paper. This is a photographic style paper.
- Canvas Prints: Supplied on 340gsm, acid free, pH neutral, 100% cotton canvas.
- Please Note: Helen Proctor Canvases are printed onto a polyester/cotton canvas mix and wrapped onto 38mm solid fir stetcher bars . They also have 2 coats of varnish for added protection and are fully finished on the back, ready to hang.
Our Giclee (pronounced "jhee-clay") prints are produced using Epson ultrachrome pigmented inks, giving a life expectancy of 75+ years under normal conditions. Giclee prints are produced using professional grade large format printers, archival pigmented inks and acid free papers and canvas.
Canvas Wraps are stretched over top quality 36mm or 44mm deep artists’ stretcher bars made from European pine. The extra-strong laminated wood construction minimize the possibility of warping.
All canvas prints are coated with 2 coats of varnish giving the finished canvas extra protection from UV rays. The varnish will also enable the canvas wraps to be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. Inferior canvas prints that have not been varnished are unable to be cleaned in this way.
The backs of the canvas wraps are stapled when stretched and then taped to hide the staples. They are then finished for hanging with hooks and wrapped in protective polypropylene film. The canvas wraps are then packed in bubble wrap before being placed into rigid cardboard containers for shipping.
Our framing options for Fine Art Prints and Poster Prints are clearly displayed below the images on the product pages. There are 3 options, Black Onyx, Light Beech and Neutral Beech. Our framing is undertaken by experts in the field and hand finished to the highest standards. Our framed prints are also wrapped in bubble wrap before being placed in the rigid cardboard containers for dispatch.
